La Nonna, a dream come true

This was the premise that our client asked of us, to make her dream come true.

In love with the Italian Tuscany and the way they care for their elders, her wish was to have a store to sell home products, both textiles and decoration, as well as accessories for babies and children, and with the possibility of expansion with more products.

Before the refurbishment, the place lacked personality, with the window set back, blocking any contact with the street.

Our proposal was to emerge from that, showing the whole interior by creating a large window leading to the street, with furniture designed for each function, modifying ceilings and taking care of every detail to obtain a functional store, with the possibility of change according to what needs to be enhanced in the future, standing out in its environment.

Wanting a very sensory space, not just visual but also olfactory (thanks to the store’s products), neutral colours were used in the display furniture to show off colourful products, and a wallpaper was set on one of the back walls, to give it depth and recreate a waiting area, with warm and welcoming colors.

Lighting was given special attention, not only for the interior, but also for the exterior, in order to be more visible and attractive to passersby.

We had the honour of being recognised for our work by being awarded the prize for the best business in Torrevieja in 2014, along with the joy of making a great dream come true.
