House Refurbishment and Interior Design

From Chaos to Order.

Our clients, a family of four, needed a complete home refurbishment. Their requirements were to increase storage, which they practically lacked, thus restoring order and comfort.

Furhtermore, the situation, with a noisy street and a nearby school, made it essential to deal with acoustic insulation.

We separated the day and night areas by placing a large wardrobe at the junction point that would act as a hall wardrobe, as the place to store the bedding and towels.

We only needed to move a partition to give a large 4-metre long wardrobe to the entrance of the master bedroom, all while keeping its built-in wardrobe and creating an extra storage area by taking advantage of a gap, where we placed the television.

In youth bedrooms, we made the most of the distribution of both the wardrobe and the furniture to make them more practical and comfortable.

We opted for neutral materials for the bathrooms, with large shower trays and furniture with textures to provide warmth and great capacity.

The kitchen was a complete transformation, fully reorganised. We incorporated the small laundry room, turning it into a closet. We avoided tiling, so we opted to give continuity to the countertop by raising the front with the same material and using paint on the rest, highlighting one of the walls. The lighting, double, the main one, LED strips glued to the ceiling and under the tall furniture to be able to work safely, and another one, on the table, warmer and more welcoming to enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere during meals.

In the long and narrow living-dining room, we painted the back wall in a grey tone to give it depth, and we chose low-rise furniture with a lot of design and great storage capacity.
The small terrace was incorporated into the living room, but independently, with a three-guide window, so it may be used individually, also generating an acoustic pad.

The decoration in strategic points that provide colour and dynamism is intertwined with sheet pictures chosen from the belongings of the clients, which make these rooms unique and personal.
